Borough of Barnsley Swimming Club
Established in 1990 BOBSC is a self financing club whose primary objective is to promote the sport of swimming throughout the Borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The club currently has over 100 active members between the ages of 7 and 25 swimming at all competitive levels up to National Standard.
Afilliated to the Amateur Swimming Association, ASA North East Region and Yorkshire ASA, all our Coaches and poolside staff are CRB checked and fully qualified. In 2006 BOBSC gained Swim21 Accredition and in 2007 was awarded the B&I trophy for being the most improved club in Yorkshire and were winners of the "Club of the Year" award at the Barnsley Sport Awards.
If you are aged 7 or over and have already achieved your Dolphin 10 swimming award or equivalent and are wanting to make new friends as well as learn to swim competively then why not contact Pat Braithwaite on 01226 290265 to arrange a free taster session.
Black Diamond Gymnastics Club
We are based at Kingstone Community Sports Centre, Kingstone School, Broadway, Barnsley, S70 6RB.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
- We do Floor Work, Beam, Vault, Trampoline, Local Competitions.
- All coaches are CRB checked and are member of British Gymnastics working at levels 1, 2 and 3.

The Royston Youth Dance Theatre Company is run by Adele Gough and takes place at:

Barnsley Hockey Club
Barnsley Hockey Club have now relocated to Darton High School Astroturf and are welcoming both adults and children to training sessions. Sessions are run by fully qualified coaches.
