MODULE TITLE - Planning the Pathway: Curriculum and OSHL
By the end of the day PLT's will be able to:
- Identify educationally sound principles to plan a curriculum and OSHL programme
- Evaluate the appropriateness of you own existing curriculum and OSHL structure
- Explain what makes a balanced curriculum and OSHL programme and the rationale on which it is based
- Identify the distinctive contribution of each area of activity to the PE curriculum
- Identify strategies to improve your own curriculum and OSHL structure
- Anylyse how your own schools policies can be improved to contribute to the above
