Y 5/6 Cross Country - Locke Park

6 Schools took part in the first ever Year 5/6 Cross Country at Locke Park in Barnsley. Over 200 children took part in the event with 4 races for Year 5 and Year 6. Children ran over distances of around 1500 and 2000 metres with all trying hard until they had crossed the finish line.

Thanks to all for taking part in the event and to Locke Park and Ranger for allowing us to use the park during the afternoon. Hopefully we will see schools at the upcoming cross country events before half term.
