Year 5/6 Girls Football Final

Action from the Tournament 13 schools took part in the Year 5/6 Girls Football Final which was held at Barnsley Football Club on Thursday 15th November. Schools played in 2 groups and played up to 7 games in order to find out who would move on to the final. Each school was already a winner of their own family event and there was some high quality football played on the day with plenty of entertainment for the crowds. In the end it was left to The Edmunds and Brierley to play out the final after they had won their individual groups and congratulations go to The Edmunds who won a closely played final 1-0.

A CERTIFICATE is available to download for all children who took part in the event.

Thanks go to Barnsley Football Club and Academy Manager, Dave Hancock, for allowing us to use the facilities for the event. Also to St. Michael's High and Priory Sports College for providing the Junior referees for the event and Primary ICT solutions for providing the winners t-shirts. Thanks also to Littleworth Grange for providing some of the goal posts.
