Priory Partnership Final
6 schools made it through to the Priory Partnership SHA Final which was held at Priory Sports College on Thursday 13th December. Each of the schools had already won their own family SHA event and so were already winners before they started. Schools participated as seperate Boys and Girls teams over a variety of events including hurdles, javelin, long jump, shot putt and shuttle run in order to gain as many points as possible. After they had attempted each station, the boys and girls totals were added together to get a total for their school and this was used to decide the winner.
Congratulations to Brierley who finished as winners of the event with Silkstone Common in 2nd place and Churchfield in a close 3rd place. Each participant recieved a certificate with the winners also recieveing a t-shirt courtest of event sponsors, Primary ICT Solutions. Thanks go to all the children, staff and parents for making the event a great success.
