Key Stage 3/4 Dance Festival
5 schools and 7 teams took part in the first ever Barnsley KS 3/4 Dance Festival which was held at Royston High School on Wednesday 23rd January. Each school competed as a team of between 4 and 15 dancers to music of their choice in order to impress the judges. All the hard work from pupils and staff was evident in the quality of the routines and also the costumes which had been produced for the festival.
Congratulations go to Wakefield Independent who finished as winners of the festival with Royston finishing in a close second place.
Thanks go to Julie Foster for judging the competition and giving up her time to help out at the event and Adele Gough (Royston SSCo) for all her hard work in organising the event.
