Key Stage 3 Gymnastics Competition
7 Teams from 5 schools took part in the annual Key Stage 3 Gymnastics competition which was held at Kingstone Community Sports Centre on Wednesday 6th March. Schools competed in teams of between 6 and 15 gymnasts to music and a routine of their choice. The teams had to perform 6 skills as part of their routine which were a roll, balance, jump, handstand or bunny hop, a cartwheel and a skill of their choice.
All the routines were of the highest quality and the time and effort put in by all the gymnasts and staff in preparation for the event was clear for all to see. Congratulations go to Kirk Balk who finished as eventual winners of the competition with Kingstone finishing in 2nd close place. Thanks go to everyone for making the event the success it was.
