Sportshall Athletics
Year 7 Competition
7 schools and 8 teams took part in the annual Year 7 Sportshall Athletics event which was held at Athersley Recreation Centre on Tuesday 11th December. Teams were made up of 12 athletes with 6 boys and 6 girls taking part in every event to gain points for their school.
Congratulations go to Kingstone A who finished as eventual winners by 20pts from Holgate.

Year 8 Competition
7 schools took part in the 2nd Year 8 Sportshall Athletics event which was held at Athersley Recreation Centre on Tuesday 22nd January.
Congratulations go to Darton who finshed as eventual winners of the event after gaining the highest combined girls and boys score.

Year 9 Competition
7 schools took part in the first ever Barnsley Year 9 Sportshall Athletics Competition which was held at Royston High School on Tuesday 29th January.
Congratulations go to Priory Sports College who finished as winners of the event with Holgate Sports College finshing as runners up.
